Our PTA Events
Every year, the Boldmere PTA brings the school community together through a series of much-loved events that raise vital funds and create unforgettable memories for our children. These are our main annual events, but they’re not the only activities we run—throughout the year we host additional pop-ups, seasonal specials, and smaller community fundraisers that all contribute to supporting the school.

✨ Fireworks Night
Our biggest event of the year, attracting around 1,500 people from across the community and raising more than £7,000 for the school. Families enjoy food, drinks, music, marshmallow toasting, lights, flashing toys, and a fantastic fireworks display.
It’s a huge team effort between the PTA and school staff—and one of the children’s favourite nights of the year.
🎄 Christmas Fair & Related Events
The Christmas Fair is a festive highlight filled with stalls, games, crafts, tombolas, refreshments, and of course a visit from Father Christmas.
It’s a chance for families to come together, pick up gifts, and soak up the cheerful atmosphere while raising essential funds just before the holidays.
Whether it’s buying gifts from Elfridges, visiting Santa or enjoying the Fair’s festive games and treats, there’s something magical for everyone to enjoy.
☀️ Summer Fair
Our Summer Fair is a brilliant afternoon of fun for all ages, featuring outdoor games, inflatables, food stalls, music, raffles, craft activities, and more.
Each year, the event helps us celebrate the end of term, enjoy some sunshine (when the weather behaves!), and raise money for new school resources and enrichment projects.
🎉 Summer Disco
A favourite among the children, the Summer Disco gives pupils a chance to dance, play, and celebrate the end of the school year with their friends.
Run by PTA volunteers and supported by school staff, it’s a safe, joyful way to mark the start of summer—with glow sticks, music, snacks, and lots of energy.
🎁 Elfridges
Elfridges is our magical in-school gift shop where children can choose secret presents for the special people in their lives. It runs three times a year — Christmas, Mother’s Day, and Father’s Day — giving children the chance to pick gifts they’re proud of and take home beautifully wrapped surprises.
During the school day, classes are safely escorted by staff and PTA volunteers from their classrooms to the Elfridges shop on school premises and back again. It’s a fun, confidence-building experience that children absolutely love, and every purchase helps support the school.
Why These Events Matter
Every pound raised at these events goes directly back into supporting the children—funding resources, equipment, activities, and experiences that aren’t covered by the school budget.
Even more importantly, these events help build a stronger, more connected community where everyone feels welcome and involved.
