Santa’s Grotto at Boldmere PTA Christmas Fair
Our Santa’s Grotto is a magical part of the Boldmere PTA Christmas Fair – a chance for children to visit Father Christmas, share their Christmas wishes, and enjoy a special festive moment on school grounds.
All money raised goes straight back into supporting Boldmere Schools.
How Santa’s Grotto Works
We want Santa’s Grotto to feel exciting for children and simple for parents.
- Book your time slot online
- Choose a grotto slot that suits your family.
- Please book one ticket per child visiting Santa.
- Arrive at the Christmas Fair
- Check in at the PTA desk a few minutes before your time slot.
- You’ll be directed to the grotto waiting area.
- Meet Santa in his cosy grotto
- Children are welcomed into the grotto in small groups by the elves.
- Santa will read a festive story, chat with them, hear their Christmas wishes, and pose for a quick photo if you’d like to take one on your phone.
- Children will then receive a special gift from Santa.
- Enjoy the rest of the Fair
- Before or after visiting Santa, families can enjoy all the fun of the Christmas Fair – stalls, games, food, and festive activities.
Booking Your Visit
Santa’s Grotto is pre-book only to keep queues short and make sure every child gets time with Santa.

- Select “Santa’s Grotto”
- Choose your preferred time slot
- Complete checkout to confirm your booking
You’ll receive a confirmation email from PTA Events – please keep this handy on your phone when you arrive at the Fair.
On the Day – What to Expect
- Please arrive 10 minutes before your time slot so we can keep everything running smoothly.
- A PTA volunteer will check your name and direct you to the waiting area.
- We do our best to keep waiting times short, but there may be a short queue at busy times.
- Families are welcome to take their own photos of their child with Santa.
If you are running late, we’ll do our best to fit you in, but we may not be able to guarantee your slot once the Fair is very busy.
